Thank you for your interest in producing a special event in the Temecula Valley. Though every professional association has its own mission, vision, goals, and strategic plan, we all share a common commitment: To connect our members to the knowledge, insight, and ideas they need in order to be successful. Here at the Temecula Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau we strive to better service the community of Temecula and its surrounding regions.
This Special Event Resource Guide has been created to assist in better facilitating a successful event, while making sure all liabilities, permits, and correct licensing have been acquired. It’s a comprehensive tool that has a place in the work of everyone contributing to the meetings and event industry. The proposed event venue, activities, components, attendance, and unique circumstances of the event are contributing factors to the final determination of the required permit types.
Step one is to determine whether your event is with the City of Temecula or County of Riverside (Temecula Wine Country). Also, please note Pechanga Resort & Casino is located on an Indian Reservation; for all requirements please work with their events department.

Is your event in the City of Temecula or Riverside County?
Requirements may differ depending on if you are in the City or County boundaries. As you see below, Temecula Wine Country, Lake Skinner, Vail Lake and Galway Downs are all located in Riverside County. Old Town Temecula and Promenade are located within the City of Temecula.
